The Ritual
Start by finding a quiet and comfortable space where you can relax. For enhanced absorption and improved circulation, warm the oil by placing about 2 droppers full in a small cup in warm water. Apply the oil evenly throughout your scalp and massage using circular motions. Massaging the following pressure points on the scalp can help promote hair growth through stimulating blood circulation, balancing energy flow, activating associated glands and relieving scalp tension and stress:
- Adhipati marma: center of the head
- Simantaka marma: crown of the head
- Krikatika marma: base of the head
Work the remaining oil through the length of your hair, from roots to ends. For optimal results, leave the oil in your hair for at least 30 minutes or overnight for a more intensive treatment and cover your hair with a warm towel or shower cap!
